Madurodam Restaurant

For the restyling of the restaurant of Madurodam, the design agency Confetti used the traditional Delft blue Dutch tile tradition. Dozens of Dutch modern architecture highlights were 'Delft Blue' and baked by Tile Bakery on hundreds of 10 x 10 and 15 x 15 tiles that you will find everywhere in the restaurant.
Three typical Dutch landscapes with windmills, electricity pylons and the delta works were enlarged by Confetti into a tile of 1 x 1 meter. At the beginning of 2006, more than 17 square meters of Delft blue tile work was installed in the restaurant.
